Minecraft in Unity3D Dec 2011

Chunks of 16x64x16 cubes
Vertical chunk generation disabled (for now)
2*10^9 different seeds
Maps of 2*10^9 x 64 x 2*10^9 cubes
Perlin noise of 7 octaves

FX:
High Resolution Real-Time Shadows
Bloom
Enhanced Contrast
Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing (FXAA)

6 different types of blocks: Earth, Grass, Water, Tree Trunk, Tree Leaves, Sand.
Destroy and add blocks (just Earth for now)
Dynamic Sky (Dawn, Day, Evening, Night, Sun with flare, Moon)
Particle Fog for sunrise and sunset
10x World speed
Chunks are saved in game folder "SAVES"
GUI redesigned (unfinished)
Most of the code was rewritten
Much better performance, runs at a healthy 60fps (45+ fps when generating chunks) with tiny lag spikes.

Game is PLAYABLE! :)

Recommended options:

Shadows: Medium (disable for better performance)
Shadow Distance: 4-7
Shadow Cascades: No Cascades (change for higher shadow definition)

Anisotropic Filtering: disabled (does nothing)
VSync: Every VBlank
Contrast Stretch: enabled (disable for better performance)
Bloom: enabled (disable for better performance)
FXAA: enabled (disable for better performance)

Chunk Distance: 10-15 (roughly between 1gb-1.5gb RAM)
Fog Distance: 4
Save All Chunks: disabled
Crosshair: enabled
