Hey everyone! In today's video, I'm diving into the freshly announced watchOS 11, which I just installed on my Apple Watch Ultra 1. This update is a hefty 1.7 gigabytes and is currently in beta, so you'll need a developer account to get it. However, Apple plans to release a public beta in July, with the full public release expected in September alongside the new Apple Watches and iPhones. I'll be walking you through some of the new features, starting with three new apps: Vitals, Shazam, and Translate. The Vitals app is particularly interesting as it tracks key health metrics like heart rate, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, blood oxygen level, and sleep duration. I'll be testing it over the next week to see how well it performs.
Additionally, I'll show you the new Translate app, which supports a wide range of languages, and the pre-installed Shazam app. There's also a significant update to the fitness app with a new training load feature that helps you monitor your workout intensity.
