Is your Hyundai Elantra/Avante MD steering rack knocking? There's a solution!
I've been meaning to post this video for a while, but I never had the time to make a wrench and try it out. Finally, I tried it – it works, and the homemade wrench fits, tightening the rack to eliminate excess play and knocking!
The welded nut is 24mm wide!
Do it at your own risk. I'm not forcing anyone to do this, I just showed you how I did it! Don't overdo it and don't overtighten the rack, or the steering wheel will bind!
