● "Little Valley" Challenge Rules:
This challenge aims to discover where your orphaned Sim comes from. They will try to rebuild their life in this small valley on a deserted island. It's up to you to create your Sim's story and develop the valley to your liking.
● YOUR SIM
Create a young adult Sim.
Your Sim must have the traits "Loves Nature," "Loves Music," and "Creative."
Your Sim's aspiration will be: Independent Botanist.
The Sim's lifespan must be set to "High."
● WEATHER / LOCATION / RESTRICTIONS
Your challenge will be located in the town of Windenburg on the smallest plot of land in the middle of the island.
You must start the game in autumn if you have the Seasons expansion pack.
Your plot must be empty; only a tent, a campfire, and a trash can will be placed on it.
You will start with 0 Simoleons.
(To start with 0 Simoleons: Open the cheat console by pressing: Ctrl + Shift + C | Enable cheats by typing: testingcheats true | Type in the bar: Money 0)
Your plot will have the "Off-Grid" and "Simple Living" challenges if you have the Country Living expansion pack.
The "Off-Grid" challenge can be removed at level 8 of the Handiness skill.
Your first purchase must be the woodworking bench to be able to build your furniture, as your house will need to be made primarily of wood, stone, and paint (paintings/wallpaper). However, there is a woodworking bench, a candle-making station, and an easel at the fisherman's shack.
You can create/add outfits for your Sim once they have crafted a mirror or purchased a wardrobe.
You can build walls and buy wooden furniture starting at Handiness level 4. For a stove and refrigerator (Handiness level 6).
You will use candles for light.
You can put wallpaper on your walls starting at Painting level 8. You can unlock the Mysterious Tree portal at Gardening level 10.
You can unlock the Crystal Cave portal at Handiness level 10.
● REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE
1) Reach level 10 in the following skills:
Gardening
Handiness
Fishing
Painting
Music (any instrument)
2) Complete your aspiration
3) Own a house worth at least 100,000 Simoleons
● Bonus: Complete the fish, frog, bug, and gardening collections.
The challenge is completed if all objectives are finished and the rules are followed. Lots that aid gameplay will be available for download in my gallery.
