Raspberry Pi : How to Make a Backup Image of Your Disc
This tutorial shows how to make a backup image of your Raspberry Pi disc using the Linux command 'dd' known as 'disc dump' or 'disc destroyer' command. There are many reasons why you might want to make a back up of your disc. if your are making changes to your device, it is always a practice to make copies of your disc. If anything happens, this image can be used to install a brand new operating, Linux operating system with all your programs and data already installed, so if you ever have a disc crash, you can start right up where you left off. In my case an error occurred in the boot of the disc, and I am going to attempt a repair, but first I want to make a back up so if the repair does not go as planned, I can try again to fix the disc.
