Happy Father's Day, Clownfish!
🦸🏾♂️🦸♂️🦸🏻♂️ Happy Father's Day to all you hard-working dads out there! If you like to keep your abode clean (and mom happy), you’re in good company with clownfish, who spend most of their days nipping algae off eggs and aerating their sea anemone nest with their fins– which provides oxygen to both the eggs and the host.
Clownfish can expect a new batch of eggs every two weeks, so dad rarely gets time to go, um, fishing. Good thing that they don’t mind stepfathering– mom doesn’t do much more than guard the nest!
