Near the crucified Jesus Christ, on Golgotha, to His right and left, stood two thieves. One of them repented, but the other died in his sins. This is what happened in the family of the Jewish kings in the 7th century BCE. King Ahaz sinned before God, and when God sent him a time of trouble for his sins, he became hardened against God, broke the vessels of the Lord's house, locked the temple, and died without repentance. His wicked grandson Manasseh, having become king, acted worse than the surrounding pagan nations. But in his own time of trouble, in a Babylonian prison where he ended up for his sins, he repented, and God saw him and he was restored to his kingdom in Jerusalem. Which group are you in? Those who, hardened without repentance, go to hell, or those who, recognizing their sinfulness, repented?
