Shift Lock Release Hack Every Driver Should Know!
Ever wondered what the shift lock button or slot is there for? It is a safety feature whereby it stops the gear lever from accidentally being knocked into Drive, Neutral or Reverse without a driver being in the drivers position with their foot on the brake. The shift lock release can be operated if the car requires towing or the mechanism is faulty.
