"155" by Daniar Abdykerimov tells the story of Mira, whose life suddenly changes one day as she is on her way home. The film's purpose is to raise awareness of the practice of kidnapping women and forcing them to marry in Daniar's native Kyrgyzstan.
"155" was made in partnership with The 1905 International Human Rights Film Festival to promote our Young Directors Contest, which marks the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. A longer version is available.
