A Quick Guide to Pinterest Keywords
What is Pinterest Keywords? Simply put, Pinterest keywords are specific terms that people (and you too, you smart cookie) use to look for something. This applies both to Google and Pinterest, but more importantly to Pinterest.
Pinterest is a social networking platform, not just a search engine. And like other sites with these capabilities, Pinterest has its own "look-up" system to find keywords that appear often in its search results.
It's not that Pinterest is bad at these searches (it's not, in fact), it's just that there are some limitations to the searches that Google, Yahoo, and Bing have been able to use before. And now, even with these improved capabilities, you can still be in the minority of searches that Google does use.
When you do search for your keywords on Google, for example, you see many people who are searching for the same thing. These searches show up all over the place. Because Google doesn't offer a search keyword filter for Pinterest searches, it can get really confusing for those who are just starting out.
But on top of that, when you search for Pinterest keywords on Google, it still gets the majority of the results. Why? Because Google uses the whole internet when it performs its searches, and they use every place where people search for these terms.
This means that if you search for your keywords on Google, you'll still see them in the search results if you're lucky. On the other hand, if you want to get the most accurate results for your search, you'll want to use other methods, such as Yahoo and Bing. Both of them have advanced tools for finding and searching your keyword keywords on the internet.
With Yahoo, you just type in the words you're looking for and then hit search. If you happen to hit the first page of results, you'll see a list of websites that include your keyword and the associated term. If you want to narrow down that list, just check out the left side of the screen and click on the option labeled "Advanced Search."
Now when you do the same search with Bing, you can use different keywords, and the number of sites you want to search for. This will show you sites that include that word or phrase, but do not include other words, sites that have sites that don't have that word and that contain other words.
So, the next time you're going to be doing an internet search, make sure you use the right words. Use Pinterest Keywords!
