I'm Tazaki, an office worker, individual investor, and father of two. I invest about ¥300,000 a month in index mutual funds as my core investment. I practice core-satellite investing, with individual stocks and active investment trusts as satellite assets. I hold a Type 1 Securities Dealers' License from the Japan Securities Dealers Association.
My asset allocation varies depending on the timing, but roughly speaking, it's 30% cash, 60% stocks, and 10% other assets. I'm a global diversifier when it comes to stocks.
I discovered stocks in college and bought them in classes. As mentioned above, I continued to do so every month even after entering the workforce. I realized that this experience was surprisingly rare, so I decided to share what I learned on YouTube. My channel has been watched by more people than I expected, with 100,000 subscribers. My first book, "The Right Investing Solution: After Reading 200 Great Books on Money" (Cross Media Publishing), has been published and has sold over 12,000 copies in five printings.
