How to issue a Brazilian Passport
To issue your passport:
1. Request it on the Federal Police website
2. Pay the GRU fee of R$257.25 via Pix or bank slip
3. Schedule a time and location of your choice
4. Go to the Federal Police on the scheduled date and time with:
ID or driver's license
appointment protocol (no need to print, you can do it on your cell phone)
your beauty, after all, they'll take your photo on the day!
5. Keep the receipt with the pickup protocol. Your passport is usually ready in about 10 days.
6. Pick up your passport. Bring the stub and your ID or driver's license.
