I visited this hospital several times during the 1.5 years of the Second Military District, and I'm not surprised by this miracle.
I saw wounded soldiers in the corridors—they themselves were like icons.
There's an amazing atmosphere there, not only built in a military style but also filled with prayer.
The hospital has a huge, strikingly beautiful church and a monument to St. Luke the Surgeon of Crimea. Throughout the hospital, there are icons and a spirit of silence, prayer, and the closeness of God, filled with pain but also peace.
I know the deep, sincere faith of the head physician of this miracle hospital and many of his staff.
Not once did Alexander Vladimirovich refuse to rescue soldiers or wounded clergy from the front lines.
Father Viktor Pedchenko, a Donetsk priest and rector of the only Church of the Royal Passion-Bearers in the DPR, successfully underwent his third operation in this hospital just today after being severely wounded by a Ukrainian bomb.
So I'm not surprised by this miracle there.
Even without these visible images on the glass, I understood that the Mother of God was invisibly watching over all our wounded soldiers and the doctors treating them.
