Introduction to the Care of Photographs
The Preservation and Conservation (PAC) Laboratory launched its Preservation Webinar Series in February 2021. Each webinar is intended to further empower librarians, archivists, heritage keepers and members of the public with information and techniques for caring for their collections. In this webinar “Introduction to the Care of Photographs”, on March 10th, 2021, Danielle Fraser, Library Conservator, and Kareem De Suza, Library Technical Assistant, explored the structure, handling, storage and display of photographs for their long-term preservation. Participants learned tips and techniques to improve the care of photos.
