Solar Crisis is a click adventure similar to old Sierra and Lucas Arts games. This one takes place in the center of the sun. In the far future, we have a sun base staffed by robots. It has gone dark, so we're sending YOU to the center of the sun to figure out what happened.
So, what did we do to make this? We saw this as a learning experience so we decided to do as much as possible on our own. Jessica made everything work in the engine and coded everything from scratch, except the dialog system. Ward made the #pixelart graphics, , #chiptune music, and wrote the dialog.
It did come down to the wire, but here it is. How many of you will get to do some fantasy role-playing with the robots... see if you can find all the secret dialog options.
