Hello! I used to prefer playing Sustained Fire, but a friend recommended Counterfire, so I built my own Build and played with it.
The features of my build are to take advantage of the XII Infantry Lasgun's high power and high capacity magazine, and to maximize the effect time of the Volley Fire with the Counterfire to eliminate the shooting enemy.
The synergistic effect of Level 20 FEATS' Unwavering Focus can greatly reduce enemy fire damage, allowing for a more aggressive approach.
Lasgun takes longer to deal with carapace armor, so I use Demolition Stockpile and Frag Storm to increase damage against groups and armor.
One After Another is also a good match. By the way, it may be just my environment, but there are many cases where the effect of Counterfire is not applied. I don't know if this is a bug or a specification. Although it is not stated, there may be an upper limit to the number of enemies to which the effect is applied.
