Twitter’s new GoLive Feature! What does it mean for Periscope?

Twitter is rolling out their new GoLive feature, based on their ownership of Periscope. This isn't a new streaming service so much as a tighter integration between Twitter and Periscope. The Twitter app now includes a GoLive button that will open Periscope and post on your Twitter account when you click it.
This is one more needed step on the road of Twitter and Periscope competing more successfully with Facebook Live. Twitter says Periscope as a stand-alone product isn't going anywhere, but I'm not so sure. Twitter really does need to fully integrate the live video of Periscope into Twitter to be a fully featured and competitive option to what Facebook is offering.
