Colored pencil drawing of Misty Copeland, an inspiring principal dancer of the American Ballet Theatre. This drawing is based off of an image that Misty posed for a few years ago, which was a part of a series of images inspired by Edgar Degas' paintings and sculptures of dancers at the Paris Opéra Ballet. In this drawing, Misty recreates a pose that Degas painted of a ballerina in his painting The Green Dancer.
