Dogs have a reputation as people's most loyal friends, and they are actually quite docile creatures compared to many pets. However, there are some species that can turn into monsters if they fall into the hands of malicious people. These dog species, which are made aggressive by fueling the instinctive sense of self-defense found in all animals, actually become or are made a threat to their environment. Perhaps the biggest reason for this situation is the organization of animal fights. Animal fights, which date back to ancient times, are unfortunately a primitive tradition that still continues today. People who derive pleasure and profit from this wild entertainment(!) have bred many dog breeds to obtain more aggressive breeds and created breeds that should not exist. Let's start by briefly introducing these dangerous dog breeds, few of which are natural.
10) ROTTWEILER
The traditional name of the Rottweiler breed of dog, which is also a breed originating from Germany, is Rottweiler Metzgerhund, meaning Butcher of Rotweil. Although this species, whose males can weigh up to 60 kilograms, is known for its docileness and trainability, its abilities and strength are astounding. As a shepherd dog, it has gained the respect of the whole world for its ability to cope with many wild animals, from wolves to bears. There are statues almost everywhere in the city of Rotweil in Germany, from which it takes its name.
9) GREAT GRAIN
As you can understand from its name, we are talking about one of the tallest dog breeds. Great Danes, also known as Danish greyhounds, can weigh up to 90 kilos and grow up to 112 centimeters tall. He was called the Apollo of dogs because his picture was found on ancient Greek coins. Despite this information, their origins are European. Due to its strong skeletal structure and obedient character, it was used as a guard by the Germanic tribes, and if aggressive, it has the power to easily kill even a wild boar. It has been used for centuries as one of the indispensable dogs of hunting parties in Europe.
8) SIBERIAN (HUSKY) WOLF
These dogs, known as Siberian Husky or Husky, are one of the most popular pet dog breeds and are actually very handsome animals due to their steel blue eyes and noble facial structure. They have been used as sled dogs by the Chukchi people in Siberia for many years to help herd reindeer and because they are athletic. Although they are known for their domesticity, they are a freedom-loving and hunting species, probably due to the wolf nature in their genes. It is harmless unless provoked, but in bad hands it can turn into a very dangerous attack tool. For this reason, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has considered Husky dogs as a potentially dangerous breed since 1979.
7) GERMAN (WOLF) SHEPHERD DOG
One of the most popular pet breeds in the world, the German Shepherd (also known as Wolf Dog in Turkey) is a breed famous for its intelligence. One of the most important features that distinguish them from other breeds is their obedience. Therefore, when they are well trained, what they can do can surprise people. German Shepherds, one of the dog breeds most used by police and health organizations, were born in World War II. It is also known that it was used in the Battle of Stalingrad, one of the most critical battles of World War II.
6) BOXERS
The history of Boxer type dogs dates back to Germany in the 1850s. The length of this species, which can reach a weight of 22-30 kg, varies between 50-63 centimeters. Boxers, a very strong field dog, are a breed that does not hold a leash, as the Germans say. These bulldogs, which were bred by rich Europeans to use in their hunting parties, are famous for their ability to take very long walks.
