Where is the military in
The Boys show makes the U.S military look like a joke? So something I noticed from the new season of the boys is all the digs at the incompetencey of the U.S military. Like the military is basically a joke in the boys universe and I’m sure that's on purpose the boys like to make fun of a lot of politicians so it makes sense they are making digs at the military as well but honestly I don’t really think it makes a lot of sense at the same time. Like I’m not tryna rep the U.S military or anything but it’s honestly really odd that the military knew about supes for like a hundred years and didn't do anything about it until Vought approached them in the show. By the end of season 4 Homelander is basically the commander in chief as well which is pretty ridiculous cuz even he has no clue how he got there. In the boys comic the U.S military made anti supe missiles and kept them a secret until using them when homelander launched a coup which makes sense cuz if your a general and you see psycho superhumans in your backyard you would immediately make weapons to off them just in case I mean that's just american the japanese can attest to that but that doesn’t happen in the show which I think was a missed opportunity.
