crocheting the easiest top I've made

pattern:
bra band: crochet a band that connects the two cups across your back (i crocheted 38 rows not including the side bust piece of the left cup)
strap pieces: crochet 28 and then hdc across to 25 stitches and then however many rows you need to connect from the back to the front which will cross over chest. the second strap piece has a chain of 18 stitches, hdc across to 15, but you can choose however many stitches across you want the straps to be. i crocheted 50 rows for each but they were too short and rode up at the back.
sew the tops of the bra cups to the straps to keep busties secure and UP
insert hook into middle edge of cup and ch50 to create a strap. do this again for the other cup, and again for both sides of the cups at the bottom edge — these straps will tie up (middle strap to side) to keep bra cups secure when bralette is on
finally, lettuce hem around the top by 5 sc in each stitch. i chose to crochet this hem around the bottom of the bralette and across the cups.
appliqué: magic circle, 6 sc, connect.
