Getting help with CAD: Using Shapr3D to design a Reed Mouthpiece
Stand-in-Ovation is a design and make music challenge open to all students at UWCSEA East and Dover from Grade 4 up to Grade 12.
The brief is simple: Design and fabricate a playable musical instrument.
During this challenge, participants will need to take it upon themselves to look at how music can be played using instruments, they will need to research different types of musical instruments and how they are played.
The aim is to create a musical instrument that can be played on its own and as part of as ensemble. A musical instrument that has a changeable pitch with a quality tone that can deliver time and time again.
