Detective Nasonov - Valuable Information
A detective, invited by district police officer Semyon Pashkin, arrives in a village for a fishing trip and witnesses a scandal: local resident Irina Semenikhina, who is laying claim to the house of deceased pensioner Loginova under the will, is evicting Lelya Zotova, Loginova's granddaughter. It turns out that Semenikhina's chances in court are very high. The next day, an assistant on his way to see his boss finds Semenikhina dead in the woods. Meanwhile, district police officer Semyon Pashkin attempts to conceal evidence from the crime scene that directly points to Lelya Zotova. The detective discovers that the motive for Semenikhina's murder was shared by Boris Deyev, the deceased's former lover, and Katerina Nikolaeva, the district police officer's jilted fiancée. Suddenly, the investigator anonymously receives irrefutable evidence against Lelya Zotova. But the detective continues to doubt her guilt and suspects that someone is trying to frame Lelya. It turns out that the entire scheme was masterminded by Lelya's husband, Andrei Zotov. Andrei adopted Lelya's child, whom she had fathered with the son of a wealthy businessman, and decided to become his sole guardian, sending his wife to prison.
