There is an error in Q1b of the extended response: Since the graph must be translated down by more than 1/e units, this means that d must be less than -1/e.
There is also an error in the solution for Q2b of the extended response. Due to the domain, this interval should be (0, 20]. Zero is not included in the interval since it is the endpoint of the function, hence the function is not continuous at this point, hence it is not differentiable at the point, meaning that gradient is undefined when x=0. Apologies for any confusion
In this video, I work through the 2019 VCAA Examination 2 for VCE Mathematical Methods.

This paper is a 2-hour examination, and so consequently this video is more than 2 hours long. I certainly wouldn’t envisage that you watch the whole video, but you might find it helpful to be able to skip ahead to any questions with which you had difficulty.
Throughout this video, I use a TI Nspire CAS CX II calculator, which is one of the approved technologies for use in this examination.
