This film demonstrates procedures and techniques for three types of injection (subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenous) and highlights the importance of preliminary hygiene and sterilization. The techniques shown were based upon the International Medical Guide for Ships (ILO, IMCO, WHO). Work on the film was carried out in cooperation with the World Health Organization, the International Labour Office, and the League of Red Cross Societies.
