Redrix's Broadsword: an old friend ♡
Redrix’s Broadsword and its father, Redrix’s Claymore, have a rich and storied history in Destiny 2. When the claymore came out it was extremely prestigious since it was so difficult to get in the comp playlist due to how matchmaking and point gains/losses worked. And it still is one of the most prestigious guns to have, even if it is a static roll that's sunset, lol. Watch out for those people with the emblems out there signifying they own the gun. They are likely pvp gods.
High impact pulse rifles like these just feel so, so good. The stats are amazing, the sound of this guy is amazing, and the look is just stunningly cool to me. No other pulse rifle compares to the feel and aesthetic beauty of the redrix collection, in my opinion.
What's more, when desperado was released it was just so game changing and incredible. It was such an exciting and unique perk in the game and you could only find it on the claymore (and then the broadsword, which had random rolls when it came out in forsaken but always guaranteed outlaw & desperado would roll). It felt so good back in forsaken to mow through groups of ads with desperado.
The broadsword is less prestigious but still legendary weapon, just like the claymore, and it holds a special place in the heart of the community.
