In this video, Ricky shows you what to do if you don't have a tremolo or whammy bar system on your electric guitar. Sometimes you need that twang or rotary pitch shifting sound in a song. Well, there are ways to simulate it using FX plugins inside your DAW. That's approach #1.

The second approach involves using a sampler - sample any sound, whether recorded through a mic or by tapping or sampling an audio or instrument track in your DAW - then use a pitch bending wheel on a keyboard controller to simulate the whammy bar effect. PreSonus Studio One's native sampling tool Sample One XT also comes with a glissando tool that enables you to slide in and out of neighboring notes on your keyboard, much like a guitarist would bend notes. You can bend chords as well.

The following are affiliate links for products discussed in this video. I am not sponsored by the manufacturer to recommend them; I only recommend products that I actually use and that I would recommend to my viewers and listeners.

You can purchase a copy of the song "Wicked Game" by the Chris Isaaks by clicking on this link: https://amzn.to/31j6ErW

I also recommend checking out the Boss GX-100 effects processor to generate some amazing tremolo/rotary sounds. You can check it out online at https://guitar-center.pxf.io/kOoZZV
