Welcome to the OPERATION BRAIN HEALTH FIELD MANUAL where we strive to give you actionable strategies to include brain healthy habits into everyday life.
For the month of March, we will focus upon Building the Habit, how to effectively integrate positive change into your life for the long term. We’ll use Mike getting back to a workout routine as our example, but the principles apply across the board.
In Episode 1, Mike talks about Incremental Change. Trying to get to a healthy routine often begins with lofty goals and several large lifestyle changes that simply aren’t sustainable for most of us. Making one change per month and focussing on integrating that change as habit means you are developing 12 healthy habits per year. That is HUGE! We’re here to help you slow down, focus your efforts, and make lasting positive change for yourself and others!
