Voice Recognition in Microsoft Word - New Transcribe Feature
Microsoft has just released the Transcribe feature to Word online, which can be used by both Windows and Mac users in a browser via Office.com
Microsoft Word Transcribe (automated voice to text transcription) takes spoken audio two ways. Either recorded to your PC or Mac via in-built or better still a quality connected mic or from a voice recording made perhaps on a digital voice recorder or your smartphone.
What makes Transcribe different? MULTI-SPEAKER !! This can't be emphasised enough, audio or a recording containing multiple voices can be transcribed by Word and the speakers identified in the text.
Our early testing is showing some excellent accuracy. Remember for best results always speak clearly and have no background noise.
