The Matrix Raining Code Screensaver 12 Hours (4K Ultra HD) - No loop, no ads in middle
The classic raining code screensaver from The Matrix, now remastered in 4K ultra high definition (UHD) at a buttery-smooth 60 fps.
There are a lot of similar screensavers out there of the iconic falling code from the movie The Matrix, but this is the only 12-hour 4K resolution recording available on YouTube that closely replicates the original style as seen in the films.
In order to accomplish this, I ended up coding one up myself based on scenes from the original movie, particularly the opening title and the scene where Neo and Cypher share a drink on the Nebuchadnezzar, which offers close-up shots of the raining code as one might see it when observing the matrix from a computer screen. Symbol colors in this screensaver are an exact match to those shown in the film. Also, symbols used are not the standard Latin alphabet, but a custom font type; the screensaver uses font faces Matrix Code NFI and Courier New. You may also notice that the raining code lines include some blank spaces (some with more, some with less), and this feature is also present in the film but is missing from a lot of screensavers. This is what gives the falling code an almost 3D look at times. The density of code on the screen is an approximation to that of the film. Finally, you will see that some symbols cycle through different characters, and some are static/unchanging, and each symbol has a randomly determined glow amount, some more glowy than others. With all of these combined, the result is extremely close to the raining code as seen in The Matrix original 1999 film. Enjoy!
