Google Play Store Authentication Error - failed to update chrome
This is a short video of the error I got when trying to update chrome on Android on my Moto X4. I was signed into my correct Google account on Chrome and on the Play Store. I have multiple Google accounts in my phone.

This is how the error was fixed. One of the Google accounts was old and did not have a correct password. I deleted this account from my phone (settings - accounts) and all is well now. This account is not the same as the usual account I used, but seemed to affect updating some apps. Don't know why.
