Nia's Time In Speech
A quick update on Nia's journey. I wanted to share where we're at now. Hearing tests are regularly done (next one will be after 6 months), constant mapping and adjusting the volumes of her hearing devices, and every other week Auditory Verbal Therapy.
I have recently also started looking at her Time In Speech. Cochlear has an app on my phone that generates a report on Nia's time in speech, how many hours she is exposed to speech. I am trying my very best to have a minimum of 6 hours a day, although, I have to admit, it's a challenge. Haha!
Taking it a day at a time and just thanking God everyday for Nia's progress and development.
