Launch of STS-3 (Columbia)
Launch of the Space Shuttle Columbia at the start of the STS-3 mission - March 22nd 1982. Onboard are astronauts Jack Lousma (CDR) and Godon Fullerton (PLT). This was the third flight test of the Shuttle system and the longest flight to that date. STS-3 was the first flight of an unpainted External Tank.
