Foveated rendering mimics how our eyes work — sharp in the center, blurred in the periphery — to make hyperspectral imaging faster and more efficient.
This technique keeps full detail only where you look (using mouse or gaze tracking) and reduces processing elsewhere, enabling real-time visualization of massive spectral datasets.

It’s especially useful in remote sensing, medical imaging, and environmental monitoring, where hyperspectral data can be huge. By applying this biologically inspired approach, we can make hyperspectral analysis interactive, scalable, and user-friendly without losing important spectral information.
