MAGICAL 🌿 Tegallalang Rice Terraces - UBUD/BALI
We rented a scooter and headed to the Tegallalang rice terraces as they are one of the most iconic attractions in Bali.
The rice terraces at Tegallalang are said to embody the traditional farming ways of the Balinese people and still use the traditional Balinese irrigation system of Subak.
When we arrived we were greeted by a guide who showed us the cinnamon plant, natural cocoa and the civets (the animals used to produce luwak coffee), we also had the pleasure to try a few different types of tea and coffee offered by the guide.
After spending more than we anticipated exploring the rice terraces, we had a delicious smoothie fruit bowl for lunch in Ubud and headed to Campuhan Ridge Walk to see the sunset, Campuhan Ridge Walk is a paved trail through Campuhan Ridge and it's a free and easy nature trek, specially for those in love with nature.
