"Wind" and "air" are related but distinct concepts in the context of atmospheric science.
Air is a mixture of gases that makes up the Earth's atmosphere. It primarily consists of nitrogen (about 78%), oxygen (about 21%), and trace amounts of other gases such as argon, carbon dioxide, and water vapor.
Wind is the movement of air, especially on a large scale. It is caused by differences in air pressure, which are created by the uneven heating of the Earth's surface by the sun.
