In this updated video, I'll walk you through and explain how to link your simbrief profile to the aircraft so that you can import your flight plan!

We will SOON be able to do imports from flight plans which include co-ordinates which is awesome but read on for specifics as this needs to be followed carefully (don't worry - it's easy)... if you are using a NAT Track as I explain in the video then you MUST find the co-ordinates along the NAT and amend the simbrief flight plan to show them correctly.

So, for example, instead of showing a flight plan route which is generated on simbrief as:
ULTI1K ULTIB T420 TNT UL28 RODOL UM65 TENSO L603 REMSI APSOV PIKIL NATA LOMSI N518A TAFFY ENE ROBER2

Because it uses NAT Track A, we need to expand that to show co-ords instead and actually change it on simbrief. It's very easy though and takes 30 seconds - go down to the flight plan map and you'll see the co-ordinates for the crossing. Copy those and replace NATA above with each waypoint so it then looks like this:
ULTI1K ULTIB T420 TNT UL28 RODOL UM65 TENSO L603 REMSI APSOV PIKIL 57N020W 57N030W 56N040W 55N050W LOMSI N518A TAFFY ENE ROBER2

Click Generate Flight Plan on simbrief at this point and THIS revised plan will import perfectly into the MCDU with all your oceanic waypoints input for you in the correct format! Eventually though the import system will be updated further and NATs will also be supported

IMPORTANT:
You must spawn from the world map ONLY selecting the departure airport. otherwise it won't let you import from simbrief 👍

There are some known issues being worked on within the wider project so check the FBW Known Issues list for those details

A reminder: SIDs and STARs will not be imported because they are down to us to enter dependant on weather and ATIS information for example.

For this, you'll need a SimBrief account if you want to make a flight plan yourself to import and if you have Navigraph, you'll be able to update the AIRAC to the latest cycles too.
