Is the RTX 3070 still Good for Competitive Gaming?
The RTX 3070 8GB has been a decent mid range card since it was released in 2020. However, the achilles heel of this card has always been its VRAM, which was limited to 8GB. Some would say this is planned obsolescence. Today we are going to be testing out the RTX 3070 8GB with our usual suite competitive games - Warzone 2, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Valorant and PUBG because noone really covers this. Unfortunately we don't have the founder's edition but we have @MSIGamingOfficial Suprim X model, which we bought used.
As always, all of our testing is based off real-world gameplays, which truly reflects actual performance of the hardware in-game. Here in OverseerPC, we focus more on real world performance rather than charts - and we tune settings to Competitive. This is real hardware testings, real gameplay, real advise, No BS.. this is OverseerPC.
