STARTING A MANGA COLLECTION // MANGA HAUL // Tips on How to Get Started
Starting a manga collection can be a bit intimidating! There's so many manga out there, so how do you get started??
Here are some simple tips to help you get started on you manga collecting journey:
🔶 Make a list of 3-5 manga series you want to start collecting - These should be series that you actually want to read! Not something you want to buy just to sit pretty on your book shelf. I started with a manga that had an incomplete anime series.
🔶 You don't have to buy all the volumes in order! - Volumes of the same series may come at different prices, so I recommend purchasing them based on your budget. Make a list of the volumes you already have, so you don't accidentally double purchase any along the way.
🔶 Consider purchasing used manga - All of the volumes of Kare Kano (His and Her Circumstances) that I have are all used, but in magnificent condition. I averaged out about $4 per volume!
