🔧 Meet Walter – Your New Best Friend for IoT Projects!
In this video, I introduce you to Walter, a compact and powerful ESP32-S3-based IoT board made by DPTechnics. What makes this board special? It connects to the LTE (4G) network using the GM02SP modem, so you can send sensor data from anywhere — even without Wi-Fi!

🌐 I’m using a SORACOM global SIM card, which worked straight out of the box. With just 8 euros, you get 250MB of data per year, perfect for lightweight IoT applications like remote temperature monitoring.

📡 Features of the Walter Board:

ESP32-S3 with PSRAM
GM02SP LTE modem
GNSS support for location tracking
SIM card connector
GPIO pins
Dual antenna ports (LTE + GNSS)
AND MORE...

📍 I also tested the GNSS feature — it works, but takes a while to get a fix. Maybe a better antenna would help. The LTE connectivity, however, worked flawlessly.

Whether you're building a smart agriculture solution, a remote sensor station, or just experimenting with IoT, Walter is a great tool to have in your dev kit!
