Inside Ubisoft Connect you will find the options Home, Library, Store and Ubisoft+. The Store is the part of the store to buy games, Home is the initial screen and Library is where your games are located. Let's take a free game as an example, Brawlhalla. Just click on it and then on "Play now". As soon as you click, the game information will appear, such as bonus packs and additional content. If this is the one you want to play, click on the blue button that says "Download".
By clicking download, the game will be added to your library. If the download doesn't start automatically, click on the game again and check in the download management section if it's listed. If it doesn't appear, the server may be overloaded, but just wait. When the installer opens, choose the language, the location where you want to save it, accept the terms and confirm.
After that, the game will begin to install. Just wait for the download to finish and that's it, you'll have the game installed on your Ubisoft Connect, ready to play on your PC or laptop, just like on platforms like Steam or Epic Games.
