“I Didn’t Know I Could Do That!” with Groovy
There are a growing number of resources about how to use Groovy in Planning. Some of them are great and some of them are teaching you bad habits. This session will walk you through some of the exciting things that can be done with Groovy beyond what you are reading about. It will also highlight techniques that are resource hogs and will break down use cases to help you navigate away from making these mistakes. Groovy, just like Essbase calculations, can be written horribly inefficient. You will walk away with some things you didn't know were possible and a lot of knowledge to avoid ineffective and performance intensive processes.
