Associate Degree in Computer Science at El Paso Community College
The two-year Associate of Arts Degree in Computer Science prepares students to transfer directly into a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at a four-year institution. The Associate of Arts in Computer Science provides a balanced program that gives students a strong concentration in the computer programming area. It is highly recommended that students complete the Math and Physics sequence at the same institution.
The program counts with various elements such as the ACM Student Chapter Computer Science Club, the Peer-led Team Learn (PLTL) program, and a Research Institute. Additionally, the Computer Science program offers technical workshops and seminars every semester, with the purpose to enhance technical skills and workforce requirements.
