John Harris Elementary: Hurricane Heros Celebration
Hurricane Hero slips are given to John Harris Elementary students when they go above and beyond and exhibit exemplary behavior. They set a goal as a school of receiving 15,000 slips, and they met that goal! To celebrate, students were treated to a "March Madness" style assembly where they heard from Washington HS girls and Lincoln HS boys basketball teams, and even got to challenge them to some games! Congratulations John Harris Hurricanes!
