In ABAP, a package is a container that groups related development objects, while a transport request (TR) is used to move these objects from one system to another in the SAP landscape. When working in the editor, a block (BEGIN OF … END OF) helps structure related fields or code logically. On the selection screen, checkboxes allow users to select multiple independent options, whereas radio buttons allow only one choice within a group. The list of local objects (also known as $TMP) is where temporary developments are stored that are not linked to any transport request, and when such objects need to be moved across systems, developers must convert $TMP to a package by assigning the object to a proper package and transport request.
