TRANSCRIPT
When you first go into Outlook, by default your emails are sorted into categories.
Outlook will decide which emails are a priority and add them to the Focused Inbox view
And all of your other emails will be added to the ‘Other’ section
If I click into the Other area, the rest of your emails will be displayed
But annoyingly, if I move into another folder in Outlook
And then click back into the inbox,
You’ll see that the view has gone back to the Focused Inbox
If you want to always show all your mails in one single view however this is a quick change to make.
We need to go into the Settings section of outlook
I can do this by moving my mouse to the top right of my inbox
And you’ll see there are a number of icons in this area
We’re interested in the cog or gear icon so lets click on that.
This opens up the quick settings section of outlook
That allows you to make some of the more common settings changes
If I move down the panel
You’ll see there is a section called Focused Inbox.
By default this is on,
We can turn this off by clicking on the toggle button in this section
You’ll see that the list of emails in the inbox then reloads.
And if we move to the list,
All of your available emails are shown in a single view.
