Collab Series #4 | Ernest Stuart
Ernest and I have known each other for probably close to 15 years. Circa 2008 we were both stumbling around the late night NYC jazz scene after migrating from Philly. My stint in NYC ended after I went broke, my relationship failed, I totaled my car, and had a nervous break down. I hightailed it back to Philly. Shortly after, Ernest was moving back and asked to stay at my house for “a few months” until he found an apartment. Roughly 7 years later he decided to move out 😂. Ernest is an amazing performer. He is fun, dynamic, talented, and engaging on stage. We have played countless shows together (mostly at @timerestaurant) that exploded into joyous late night drunken dance parties. It’s an absolute blast. I wanted to try and capture a bit of that spirit and energy here. Enjoy!! 🎶🎺 🥁 🎸 🔊
