Band 9 Tips for Table Completion in the IELTS Reading Test - General and Academic
In this video recorded by Ross IELTS Academy, we want to teach you a very important lesson in your IELTS reading.
You will learn how to answer a table completion question in the IELTS Reading exam.
You'll learn how to manage your time, skim and scan read the text as well as answering all the 40 questions in IELTS Reading in both Academic or General module.
1. Don't spend much time in one passage - because it gets harder and there are 3 of them
2. Don't spend much time on one answer - move on to the next one if you don't know the answer and go back to it if you know the answer
3. Scan and skim read the text - use this to your advantage to get the idea of it and when looking for an answer
4. Underline the keywords - underline the nouns and main ideas of the sentences to help you find answers easier
5. Follow the lines/words with a pencil - because you tend read fast if you're following the words. This is also a technique for speed reading.
