How to fill text with gradient tool in Photoshop

I have shown how to fill text with gradient in two methods. In first method I have typed text with horizontal type mask tool and fill the text with gradient tool. In second method I have typed text with horizontal type tool. Then I have resterized the layer. Then selected layer transparency and filled the text with gradient tool.
