UPDATE! I'm happy to see The Sims team has addressed this issue and told us we can expect improvements starting this fall. However, as said in the video, it shouldn't take white voices speaking up about this for there to be action, so the announcement is a little bittersweet knowing that's what it took for the team to pay attention. Additionally, I still want to see structural change at EA that highlights marginalized voices at the company, both in game development and business operations.
